KATHMANDU, Aug. 9 -- Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has summoned the chiefs of security agencies to discuss the tense situation at the Dhangadhi prison in Kailali.

According to the Home Minister's Secretariat, the meeting at the Home Ministry will bring together the heads of Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force, and the National Investigation Department to deliberate on the situation arising from a clash among inmates.

The discussion, scheduled for 4:00 pm on Saturday, will also be attended by Home Secretary Gokarnamani Dawadi, Chief of the Security and Coordination Division and Joint Secretary Anand Kafle, along with other senior officials.
