Kathmandu, Nov. 13 -- Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal bid farewell to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chandra Kubar Khapung, who retired from service. During the farewell, Minister Aryal praised Khapung for his remarkable contributions to the Nepal Police within a short leadership tenure. He said Khapung's intellect and professional competence had helped boost morale within the police organization.
Khapung, who retired at midnight on Wednesday after completing 30 years of mandatory service, was congratulated by Minister Aryal for his successful career. The minister also expressed confidence that Khapung's experience would continue to benefit the nation even after retirement.
