Nepal, April 18 -- Ministry of Health and Population has decided to grant two-day public holiday in public hospitals on Saturday and Sunday.

Spokesperson at the Ministry, Dr Prakash Budhathoki said that arrangement to give a two-day public holiday on Saturday and Sunday has also been implemented in hospitals as per the notice published in the National Gazette on April 4.

Earlier, the ministry had directed the operation of outpatient services on Sunday as well.
