KATHMANDU, Nov. 30 -- Prime Minister Sushila Karki called for unity on national issues during a meeting with an RPP delegation led by party chief Rajendra Lingden at her Baluwatar residence.

She said all sides need to work together so the country does not repeat past mistakes, adding that unnecessary disputes in the past had already caused enough damage.

According to her press coordinator, Ram Bahadur Rawat, she stressed that the country should protect what it has already achieved and move forward with patience instead of creating new problems. She urged parties to present their agenda to the people, get approval through elections, and then bring those ideas into practice.
