Kathmandu, Oct. 10 -- The government has decided to abolish the Land Commission, which the former government led by KP Oli had set up a year ago to address the squatters' problem.

The cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to invalidate the Land Commission and all district committees formed under the Land Commission Formation Order 2024, said government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagdish Kharel.
