Nepal, Aug. 29 -- The price of gold in the domestic market increased by Rs 1,800 per tola (11.6638 grams) last week.

As per the report of Reuters, an international media, gold price pacified by 3 percent on Friday after reaching a three-month high last week, on an expectation of the Federal Reserves hiking the interest rate.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the market price of gold increased to Rs 318,500 from Rs 316,700 from per tola when the market closed the previous week.

Except on the first two days, the price of the precious metal went down on the remaining weekdays. The largest jump of Rs 3,200 was recorded on Monday the price dipped by the largest of Rs 2,400 on Friday.
