Nepal, Sept. 16 -- Energy Minister Kulman Ghising has directed the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to immediately remove the minister's unit set up on the premises of the NEA's head office.

Sending a letter through the Energy Secretary on Tuesday, Ghising asked to remove the office set up for the minister inside the NEA. Former Energy Minister Deepak Khadka had ordered an office to be prepared for him overnight in the third week of December 2024, following his tussle with Ghising, who was then NEA's executive director.
