Nepal, March 17 -- In the past 24 hours, Nepal has witnessed multiple disaster incidents resulting in four deaths and 14 injuries, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).
During this period, a total of 73 disaster events were reported. Of the fatalities, two were caused by strong winds, one by lightning, and one by a snakebite. Additionally, seven people were injured in wind-related incidents, one person was injured by lightning, and several others suffered injuries from fires and landslides.
The NDRRMA noted that fires, forest blazes, and other hazards affected 43 districts in the last 24 hours, highlighting the ongoing vulnerability of communities across the country.
