KATHMANDU, Aug. 1 -- Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has denied any involvement in the Patanjali land case, claiming he has never engaged in corruption or misused public funds.
Speaking to the media at Biratnagar Airport on Thursday, Chairman Nepal said the case against him was driven by prejudice and insisted that all land-related decisions were made following due process.
"This is not a corruption case at all," he said, "I've never misappropriated a single rupee in my entire life. It's beyond imagination to link me to corruption in this case."
