Former FM Arzu Rana among 18 charged in Rs 10-billion passport printing procurement graft case

KATHMANDU, June 22: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case at the Special Court against former Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, naming her as a defendant in an alleged financial irregularity related to the passport printing and system management procurement process.
According to CIAA sources, a total of 18 individuals have been made defendants in the case. The anti-graft body completed its investigation and registered the charge sheet at the court on Monday.
