Nepal, May 29 -- The exchange rate of the US dollar remained unchanged against the Nepali rupee on Thursday, while the values of the British pound, euro, and several other foreign currencies declined.

According to the latest foreign exchange rates published by Nepal Rastra Bank, one US dollar was being bought at Rs 152.81 and sold at Rs 153.41, unchanged from the previous day.

The Japanese yen and Saudi Arabian riyal also remained largely stable. The selling rate of 10 Japanese yen stood at Rs 9.62, while the Saudi riyal was being sold at Rs 40.88.

Meanwhile, the euro weakened slightly, with the buying rate falling to Rs 177.44 from Rs 177.84, while the selling rate dropped to Rs 178.13 from Rs 178.54. The British pound also declined, ...
