Nepal, May 26 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has launched a new digital platform, 'MoFA Mitra,' aimed at improving communication and service delivery for Nepali citizens living abroad.The app, developed under the Department of Consular Services, was formally inaugurated by Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal during a program in Kathmandu.

According to the MoFA, the platform enables Nepalis overseas, as well as their family members in Nepal, to directly submit complaints, grievances, and requests for assistance to the relevant diplomatic missions. Officials say the system is designed to streamline the handling of issues such as labor disputes, emergencies, and repatriation needs.
