Nepal, July 9 -- A massive flood carrying mud and debris in Upper Mustang has damaged six bridges, including four that were completely swept away, according to the District Police Office (DPO) in Mustang.

The flood, which lasted about three hours on Tuesday evening, struck Khumjung stream in Chhoser, Lomanthang Rural Municipality-4, a village near the northern Nepal-China border.

A concrete motorable bridge in Khumjung and an under-construction bridge in Samjung (Lomanthang-2) sustained damage. Additionally, a steel bridge and three wooden bridges were washed away, according to DPO Mustang.
