Nepal, April 2 -- Today marks the beginning of the first session of the newly elected House of Representatives (HoR). The HoR comes into being following the elections held on March 5.

A meeting of the HoR has been called for 2:00 PM today in the multipurpose room of the under-construction Federal Parliament Building in Singha Darbar.

President Ram Chandra Paudel had called a session of both houses of the Federal Parliament for today, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
