KATHMANDU, Aug. 4 -- The Ministry of Finance held discussions with the Ministry of Health and Population regarding the implementation of the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83.

During the meeting, the Health Ministry proposed the addition of 2,100 health personnel including doctors and nurses for federal hospitals to strengthen specialized services and expand healthcare delivery.

Health Minister Pradeep Paudel emphasized the need for additional manpower to enhance service delivery and healthcare access across all seven provinces. He said expanding services requires adequate staffing to ensure efficiency and reach.
