Nepal, April 1 -- Eight Nepali citizens who had been lured by various promises and taken to Cambodia to work in illegal online scamming centers, casinos, and other unauthorized activities have been rescued and returned to Nepal. The rescue was carried out through the efforts of the Nepali Embassy in Bangkok with support from the Cambodian government and facilitated by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Cambodia. The group departed Cambodia on March 31 and landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on April 1.
