Nepal, Nov. 14 -- Election Commission (EC) has proposed requiring political parties and elected representatives to publicly disclose annual progress made on their election manifesto commitments.
The provision has been included in the draft of the updated election code of conduct. According to the draft, political parties and candidates must conduct election campaigns strictly on the basis of the manifesto they publish.
