KATHMANDU, Oct. 4 -- Continuous rainfall since Saturday morning has led to the suspension of domestic flights at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

According to Hansa Raj Pandey, General Manager of TIA, flights to Kathmandu, Bharatpur, Janakpur, Bhadrapur, Pokhara, and Tumlingtar have been halted due to poor weather conditions.

He stated, "Weather conditions are under review. International flights are operating as usual. Domestic flights have been temporarily suspended because flying during heavy rain poses a risk."

The continuous rain has affected domestic flights since Saturday morning. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported ongoing rainfall across Kathmandu and various parts of the country.
