Kathmandu, Oct. 13 -- The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection (DoC) has urged all concerned stakeholders to ensure that goods sold during the festive season carry a clearly marked Maximum Retail Price (MRP).
During its regular market inspections, the department found that many items - particularly those used during Tihar, such as bhai masala, copper and silver utensils, decorative electric lights, and other festival goods - were being sold without proper labelling or price tags displaying the MRP.
