Dialogue, not division: Group urges religious harmony
Nepal, Aug. 3 -- World Peace and Spiritual Science Society Nepal has appealed to all Nepalis to strengthen religious, cultural, and social harmony, national unity, tolerance, and peace across the country.
In a press statement, the organization said Nepal, as the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, the land of meditation associated with Shiva, and a country with a long tradition of mult-ireligious coexistence, has long shared the message of peace, compassion, and humanity with the world. Preserving this identity, it said, is a shared responsibility of all Nepalis.
