Nepal, July 30 -- A man was killed after being shot during a clash in Siraha's Golbazar on Thursday despite a curfew imposed to contain escalating tensions in the area.The latest death came as security forces intensified efforts to restore order following the killing of a youth in Sunsari's Kaptanganj on Sunday night.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Chet Raj Baral, the deceased has been identified as Ganesh Yadav. He was shot after a dispute between two groups escalated into violence despite the curfew, officials said.

Security has since been tightened in Golbazar and surrounding areas, with joint teams of the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army deployed to bring the situation under control.
