Nepal, June 16 -- China has pledged to accelerate the implementation of ongoing projects in Nepal and those previously agreed upon by the two countries, while reaffirming support for Nepal's economic growth and governance priorities.

The commitment came during talks between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Nepal's Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal in Beijing on Monday, according to Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the Chinese side reaffirmed its commitment to swiftly implement projects and programs previously agreed upon by the two countries.
