Nepal, April 22 -- The Birgunj Customs Office has collected Rs 177.66 billion in revenue during the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
The revenue collection marks an increase of Rs 16.20 billion, or around 10 percent, compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.
According to Information Officer Uday Singh Bista, the office has achieved 89 percent of its nine-month revenue target. The Department of Customs had set a target of Rs 199.34 billion for the period.
