Nepal, Aug. 6 -- Bhaktapur police have initiated an investigation against alleged gangster Milan Gurung, commonly known as Chakre Milan, in connection with an attempted murder case dating back a year.

The case stems from a complaint filed at the Police Circle Thimi, accusing Chakre and others of orchestrating an attack on Manish Rayamajhi at the Tawa Restaurant in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. The complaint, lodged by Manish's uncle, Dinesh Kumar Rayamajhi, claims that the incident took place on 26 August 2024, when a group including Ajit Khawas of Hariban Municipality-4, Sarlahi, assaulted Manish with sharp weapons, leaving him seriously injured.
