Nepal, June 25 -- The Armed Police Force (APF) has set up temporary monsoon response units at 54 locations across the country to tackle disasters related to the monsoon season. They have created temporary shelters at identified disaster sites, which can take time to mobilize for rescue efforts. Specifically, there are six temporary stations in Koshi province, 11 in Madhes, 16 in Bagmati, four in Gandaki, seven in Lumbini, two in Karnali, and eight in Sudurpaschim province.

Additionally, disaster management units have been established at 16 places in the mountains, hills, and plains, with the necessary personnel and resources on standby.
