Nepal, Aug. 22 -- Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has urged party leaders to resolve internal disputes through dialogue rather than through the courts, stressing the need to preserve unity within the party.

Speaking to journalists after the party-organized "Green Run" program in Lalitpur on Saturday, Sharma called on leaders from the dissident faction to abandon legal battles and return to the negotiating table.

While acknowledging that the Constitution and laws provide avenues for legal recourse, Sharma said court cases would not address the party's underlying problems.
