Nepal, Aug. 7 -- The US Embassy in Nepal has launched the 2026 cohort of the USYC Nepal programme, selecting 55 young leaders from more than 1,600 applicants across the country.

The new cohort was formally launched at an event hosted by the US Embassy on Friday. US Embassy Charge d'Affaires Scott Urbom congratulated the selected participants and highlighted their potential role in promoting innovation, economic growth and positive change in their communities.

The selected participants will take part in the programme for one year, during which they will develop leadership skills and build networks with peers and industry experts. The programme also aims to help them prepare for future opportunities to contribute to Nepal's development....
