Nepal, March 1 -- The Food Management and Trade Company Limited Madhesh Province Office Janakpurdham has purchased 11,665 quintals of paddy from farmers in Mahottari and Dhanusha in the past three months.

According to the provincial head of the office, Nirmal Thapa, paddy worth Rs 42.324 million has been purchased from 300 farmers in Mahottari and Dhanusha districts. In addition, the purchase of paddy has been stopped after the office's godown was full. Paddy was purchased at the rate of Rs 3,628.33 per quintal.
