KATHMANDU, Oct. 26 -- The government has stated it is always ready and serious about addressing legitimate demands, concerns, and issues raised by the public.
In a statement, the Ministry of Home Affairs urged all sides to seek lawful solutions to their demands through dialogue and discussion instead of holding sit-ins, rallies, protests, or other agitation programs.
According to the ministry, the current government, formed after the Gen Z-led protests, is actively working to create an environment for the elections scheduled for March 5. The statement said the government has been holding talks with political parties and stakeholders, and has begun making necessary legal amendments, as well as arranging resources for the polls.
