Nigeria, Sept. 26 -- Premium cognac maker Remy Martin has reintroduced its celebrated VS Superieur (Very Special Superieur).

The reimagined blend was unveiled in Lagos on Thursday as part of a pan-African launch targeting a new generation of cognac lovers.

First created in 2014, Very Special Superieur is produced exclusively from grapes grown in Petite Champagne, the prized heart of France's Cognac region.

For a richer, more complex character, they say the spirit is aged at least three years in French oak casks, longer than a traditional VS.
