Nigeria, March 30 -- The remains of a retired priest of The African Church in Akwa Ibom State, Joseph Imukudo, would be laid to rest on Friday, 10 April, at Ikot Ebak Community in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom.

The late priest was the father of a PREMIUM TlMES reporter, Saviour Imukudo.

He died on 2 November 2025 at the age of 66 after a brief illness. He was born on 7 July 1959 and hailed from Ikot Ebak in Mkpat Enin.

His only son, Saviour, who is the chief mourner, disclosed the details of the funeral ceremony in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, funeral activities will begin with the opening of the mourning house on Monday, 6 April, at the deceased's compound in Ikot Ebak.
