Nigeria, June 10 -- The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday recorded another loss in the House of Representatives as Aliyu Misau, who represents the Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, formally moved to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

Mr Misau's resignation was communicated in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, and was subsequently read during plenary on Wednesday.

In the correspondence, the federal legislator attributed his decision to the ongoing leadership crisis within the PDP, which he said had made it difficult for him to effectively represent his constituents and contribute to development efforts.
