Oyo govt accuses FG of intentionally excluding Makinde from federal road project launch
Nigeria, Aug. 25 -- The Oyo State Government has accused the federal government of deliberately excluding Governor Seyi Makinde from the launching of the reconstruction and dualisation of the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode Road.
The launching was held on Monday at Idi Ayunre in Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, with the state government describing the governor's exclusion as politically motivated.
Mr Makinde is the presidential candidate of the Allied People's Movement seeking to challenge President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 presidential election.
