Nigeria, Oct. 15 -- Vice President Kashim Shettima has said that Nigeria's renewable energy manufacturing value chain has attracted over $400 million in new investment commitments.

Mr Shettima made the disclosure at the opening of the Nigerian Renewable Energy Innovation Forum (NREIF) 2025 in Abuja on Tuesday.

"I am pleased to announce that, through the engagements and partnerships facilitated under this forum, more than $400 million in new investment commitments are being mobilised into Nigeria's renewable energy manufacturing value chain, spanning solar panels, smart meters, battery storage and recycling," the vice president said.
