Nigeria, Sept. 19 -- There are good reasons why Leno Adesanya and his company, Sunrise Power Transition Company, lost their case at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), an outcome that sparked widespread nationwide celebrations across Nigeria.

The ICC threw out Sunrise's USD 2.35 billion claim over the Mambilla Hydro Electric Power Project over the weekend and, as widely reported, also rejected a USD 400 million settlement claim, ordering instead that the company and Adesanya reimburse Nigeria about USD 11-82 million in legal and other expenses.
