Nigeria, June 18 -- The US and Iran have signed a deal to halt the war between the two countries. The deal also declares "the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon," where Israel has been carrying out attacks that have killed hundreds of people and displaced over a million residents.

PREMIUM TIMES reports that the war started on 28 February when the US and Israel launched attacks on Iran. Iran retaliated by targeting American interests in the Gulf States. Hezbollah, the armed Lebanese group, joined the war on Iran's behalf, targeting Israel, which led to Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
