Nigeria, Aug. 29 -- The US Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has confirmed that two Nigerians, Adebola Adekunle and Mudasiru Olawale, have been extradited to the US, where they are accused of "sexual exploitation of minors, coercion and enticement, extortion, distribution and production of child sexual abuse material, and other offences."

FBI Director Kash Patel announced their return to the US in a Friday post on X, a few hours after Nigeria's anti-corruption agency, EFCC, announced the extradtion of the two men.

Mr Patel described both men as "high-value targets," saying they were "brought back" to "face justice for alleged sextortion crimes and targeting minors."
