Nigeria, Sept. 8 -- The T.Y. Danjuma Foundation has sent 50 children from Murbai in Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State for specialist treatment after they developed eye problems.

The children are currently receiving specialist medical attention at the T.Y. Danjuma Specialist Eye Hospital in Takum, following appeals that drew attention to their condition.

The intervention came after reports emerged that several children in the community were experiencing eye problems.

The foundation said it received the appeal and subsequently mobilised to facilitate specialist assessment and treatment for the affected children.
