Nigeria, Aug. 15 -- Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) devices have continued to malfunction at some polling units across Osun State in the ongoing governorship election, the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) Situation Room has said.

In its latest report, the Situation Room reported the malfunctioning of the device in Ilesa West, Ife Central and Egbedore Local Government Areas.

At 1:34 p.m., the BVAS stopped working at Polling Unit 024, Transformer Junction, Ofatedo Registration Area, Egbedore Local Government Area. The device reportedly stopped working because its battery was low. Some people offered power banks to support the machine.
