Mumbai, Sept. 7 -- BSE-listed Sudarshan Pharma Industries Ltd [BSE Scrip Code: 543828, Trading Symbol: SUDARSHAN, ISIN: INE00TV01023] has announced its first major overseas biotech acquisition.
In a disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company informed exchanges that its Board of Directors at its meeting held today - 5th September 2026 between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm - has approved the acquisition of24,23,675.64 equity sharesof Common Stock, par value US$0.0001 per share, ofMedTherapy Biotechnology Inc., USA.
The acquisition represents9.50% of the issued and outstanding share capitalof the target company. The consideration will be paid in cash in US Dollars, with the price based on valuation as per prevailing valuation norms.
Promoters to co-invest
Alongside the company, its promoters will also acquire a stake in the same target:

The company clarified that the transaction does not fall within related party transactions and will be done at arm's length.
