United States, Oct. 21 -- The World Bank Group today announced the 28-month debarment with conditional release of Mr. Godfrey William Mashauri, a national of the Republic of Tanzania, for fraudulent and corrupt practices connected to the Southern Africa Trade and Transport Facilitation Project and the Dar es Salaam Urban Transport Improvement Project, both in Tanzania.The Southern Africa Trade and Transport Facilitation Project (SATTFP) aimed to facilitate the movement of goods and people along the Dar Corridor in Tanzania, while improving services to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and road safety.
