United States, Oct. 1 -- Windborne Systems Inc., Redwood City, California, has been awarded a maximum $48,727,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Commercial Weather Data. This contract provides for continuous, global, and targeted atmospheric vertical profiling data, from the surface to the stratosphere, to support Air Force forecasting and Department of War mission planning. Work will be performed at Redwood City, California, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2033. This contract was a sole-source acquisition.
