Oman, Feb. 5 -- Technology group Wartsila has extended its operation and maintenance agreement with Musandam Power Company of Oman, an independent power producer (IPP), for another seven years. This extension builds on eight years of operation and maintenance support from Wartsila, during which the Musandam independent power plant has consistently delivered outstanding reliability and availability. The agreement extension order was booked by Wartsila in Q2 2025.The plant operates with 15 Wartsila 34DF dual-fuel engines delivering a net power output of 120 MW.
