Norway, May 12 -- Veidekke has signed a contract with Oygarden Municipality to build the new Fjell lower secondary school at Bildoyna. The contract includes a new school building, infrastructure and a basement, and is valued at approximately NOK 350 million. The school is scheduled to be ready for use at the start of the 2028/2029 school year.The project comprises a new school building with associated outdoor areas, as well as upgrades to the existing road infrastructure along Bildoyvegen and Bjorkestolen. The school is designed to accommodate 610 students, including a dedicated unit for students with special needs.
