United States, April 16 -- The University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas, was awarded a $75,480,869 cost-only contract for surface combatant ship design and engineering efforts for land-based testing of shipboard power systems. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to $86,416,590. Work will be performed in Arlington, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 2031.
