United Kingdom, Oct. 15 -- In response to the evolving drone threat, Thales has demonstrated the ForceShield UK solution's ability to track and intercept hostile Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The solution combines Thales' Agile C4I @ Edge (ACE) engagement control technology with exemplar third-party radars and effectors. During the demonstration, the system successfully tracked and directly engaged a Shahed-type drone.
