United States, March 13 -- TAI Holdings Inc., Pensacola, Florida, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a 100-foot-long, 2,400-horsepower, triple screw towboat for use by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District Maintenance and Repair section to move barges and floating plants. The amount of this action is $13,742,900. Bids were solicited via the internet with five received. Work will be performed in Bayou La Batre, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 10, 2026. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance, Corps of Engineers, civil funds in the amount of $13,742,900 were obligated at the time of the award.
