United States, Aug. 27 -- SyQwest LLC, Cranston, Rhode Island, is awarded a $14,113,234 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the production, testing, and delivery of source and sensor kits to be used on the MK48 heavyweight torpedo, a submarine launched anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare weapon. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $92,443,831. Work will be performed in Cranston, Rhode Island, and is expected to be completed by July 2027. If all options are exercised, work will continue through July 2032.
