Slovenian seaport continues to modernize operations with repeat order for four electric Konecranes RTGs
Slovenia, Nov. 18 -- Longstanding customer Luka Koper has ordered four more Konecranes electric Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes for its container terminal at Slovenia's Port of Koper. This follows the 2024 order of four identical Konecranes electric RTGs. The new crane order was booked in Q3 2025 and hand-over is planned for Q2 2026.Luka Koper operates Slovenia's only cargo seaport, a key Adriatic gateway to Central and Eastern Europe. The company is continuously investing in its container terminal, with a strong focus on lowering emissions and improving efficiency.The four new electric Konecranes RTGs will replace several older diesel units currently running in the container yard.
