Pakistan, Jan. 13 -- On January 13, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the capital city Islamabad, to provide grant aid for the Project for the Improvement of Child Health Care Facilities in South Punjab. The signatures were exchanged between Senior Joint Secretary (Japan) Miran Mohiyuddin Soomro of Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Chief Representative Miyata Naoaki of JICA Pakistan Office.The Project aims to improve access to continuous maternal and child healthcare, an area where Japan has long cooperated, by improving newborn and child health care facilities that can also function as a disaster base hospi...
